We are the operators of the app Aapdu Bazaar. We provide a platform where we list offers/ deals for local services and products which are made available to us by local vendors/businesses/sellers (hereafter referred as Vendors) from Junagadh. This Privacy Policy applies to information that we collect through our mobile application and connecting services (email or phone) used in case of queries to serve those.

When you sign-up on Aapdu Bazaar, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use or access our app.

You can customize how you interact with the Aapdu Bazaar app. You can manage the types of personal data you provide to us and can limit how we communicate with you.

SMS – You hereby give us permission to receive communications by SMS or calls from Aapdu Bazaar or its vendors with regard to the services provided by Aapdu Bazaar or as facilitated by the Aapdu Bazaar vendors.

Use Of Information

• Operate, maintain and improve the app;
• Provide you with personalized direct marketing initiatives via SMS or direct marketing offers through WhatsApp and using GPS services;
• Facilitate and process orders – for example, for vouchers, referral information, coupon booklet, etc.;

• Prepare customer segmentation and analyze customer behavior; 
• Communicate and provide additional information that may be of interest to you about Aapdu Bazaar and the vendors;

• Improve overall user experience and provide personalized experiences by optimizing and analyzing information gathered from you.

Disclosure Of Information

We are not in the business of selling or renting personal data. We do not deal with any data brokers or third party advertising tools through selling or renting your data. We will not share your personal data, except in the following manner:

• With the vendors so that they can ensure redeeming of coupons/vouchers, respond to business inquiries and get generic analytics for their business offer performance and other data like number of business page visitors, etc. 
• As necessary to perform contractual obligations towards you with vendors to the extent you have purchased or redeemed an Aapdu Bazaar voucher, products or services offered by a vendor or participated in an offer, rewards, contest or other activity or program sponsored or offered through us or the vendors 
• In case of a merger, acquisition or reorganization with a purchaser of our company or all or substantially all of our assets
• To comply with legal orders and government requests, or as needed to support auditing, compliance
• To combat fraud or criminal activity, and to protect our rights or those of our vendors and users, or as part of legal proceedings affecting Aapdu Bazaar

However, while we share personal data with vendors only for the above-mentioned purposes, their subsequent processing and use of personal data obtained through Aapdu Bazaar is governed by their own privacy policies and practices and are not subject to our control.

You can help us to ensure that we can understand your preferences and offer you the products and services that are most relevant to you through personalizing if you keep your personal data updated. 

You can access and update the information you provided to us in your profile by accessing the Edit Profile option in the main menu or contacting us at info@aapdubazaar.com.

While we are ready to help you in managing your purchases, subscriptions, closing your account, and removing your active profile, we cannot always delete records of past interactions and transactions. For example, we may be required to retain records relating to previous purchases on our app for financial reporting and compliance reasons.

Retention Of Personal Data

You can at any time unsubscribe from receiving our services and promotional SMSes. We will, however, retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services and to maintain a record of your transactions for financial reporting or other compliance purposes. We will also retain your personal data as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Our vendors may also have their own privacy policies. Android App Permissions required to use Various Features in our App:

To provide you with the best user experience and accurate information relevant to you, and for you to be able to use all our app features, we need below permissions on your device:

• Location: We provide location specific functionality like restaurants, hangout places in your area, active sale outlets, etc.
• SMS: We need to send and receive SMS permission, so as to read your SMS and auto- populate One-time OTP received on your mobile number for Sign-up and later for the authentication of payments while making a transaction.
• Phone Call: We need access to make phone calls through the app so you can connect directly with vendors from within the app when you have queries. 
• Camera and Microphone: To scan QR Code and/or any other codes, vouchers, etc. on the App. To enable UPI payments from the payment gateway within the app. 
• Gallery: To access and upload photos for profile picture editing.
• Storage: To ensure a better and quicker experience of using the app, we need Storage permission for local caching of data on your device. We do not store any confidential data as part of this permission.
• Vibrate: This is used to enable notification services. 
• Geo-Services: This permission is used to notify you that you have entered a city hotspot and there are various vendors offering deals in this area.
• Maps: We use maps to provide you the exact location of the vendors you are interested in checking out on Google maps so you can easily navigate and also know the distance from your current location. 
• Network: For the app to run, we need active internet connection. This permission is used to connect the user’s device to an active network in the vicinity. 
• Install Shortcut: Shortcut of Aapdu Bazaar App is auto-created upon installation of the app by the User from the Playstore.
• Wake Lock for background works: In case of multiple background services, we need to have an active background running for the app.
